I never was "in love" with Billy Joe like a lot of the girls seem to be, and actually never looked at Green Day as a favorite band at all -- until recently, when I saw them in concert.
I may not have been to that many concerts, but it was definitely the best concert of my life. Billy Joe is probably the most charismatic singer on the plannet. All these girls down below were trying to touch his hands (like in most concerts), and aside from touching them all like most polite and caring singers do, I noticed someone reach for him in the middle of a part of a song he couldn't stop during...and he actually continued playing, singing, and reached back out for the person to touch his hand. He did masterbate on stage, which was probably the funniest and hottest thing I've ever seen from a singer. Trust me, if you don't like the way MTV is dressing these days (in the black and make-up and tight pants), you will after you see Billie Joe rub himself through them...haha. Okay, so he's doing the 'I shout crowd shout' kinda thing right? He starts out with "everyone say hey-oh" like normal, and they say it back. Then he says "everyone say hey, ohhhh" in a higher voice...and as he went on the different things we had to repeat started sounding like moaning sounds...so he keeps doing it and puts his hand in his pants, then turns it into more of a sharper "oh! oh!"...lol...and of course the entire audience is saying it, and he's saying it even louder into the microphone. But you know what? It was f**king hott as hell.  After the concert I probably now like Green Day and Billy Joe twenty times more than I did before...they used to be like my 7th favorite band and have now moved to probably 2nd. Billy Joe seems like a really nice guy. He's not gay and he's not gross, he's just awesomely cool like that...not many people would have the guts to do that on stage...and I think the only reason he kisses guys is jokingly (which we all should know), or to make fun of the people that think things like that are so "OMG disgusting horrible wrong </world> die" If only I got that part on camera...the masterbating part I mean.  (and this is coming from someone who never thought he was that hott, just slightly cute like a lot of band members are...)
