My big brother just got married. He and I have a 14 year age difference, he's never lived in my house (half-brother), but whenever I get the chance to talk to him he's a really great guy. I want to get to know him better (I've wanted to for a while). My mom said to just call him or send him an e-mail, but he just got married and I don't know if he has time for me. I don't want to annoy him and what if he think's it is weird? What do you think, should I give him a call/e-mail or no?

Yes, E-mail him first to break the ice and make arrangements for a call. Since he is older than you, his advice about life and love can be priceless and enlightening knowledge for you.
