My big brother just got married. He and I have a 14 year age difference, he's never lived in my house (half-brother), but whenever I get the chance to talk to him he's a really great guy. I want to get to know him better (I've wanted to for a while). My mom said to just call him or send him an e-mail, but he just got married and I don't know if he has time for me. I don't want to annoy him and what if he think's it is weird? What do you think, should I give him a call/e-mail or no?

.....he will always have time for you. You are family to him, and family is more important than any love anyone can show you.

Yes, E-mail him first to break the ice and make arrangements for a call.

Since he is older than you, his advice about life and love can be priceless and enlightening knowledge for you.

Whether it be half brother or full blooded brother, it does not matter...he will allocate his time for you.

Go for it.
