Bands such as The Killers, Franz Ferdinand, Interpol, Hot Hot Heat, The Hives, The Libertines, The Strokes, etc. have all been referred to as "New Wave" rock bands for their 80's pop/rock influence and their catchy tunes.
Which of these bands are you into or have you heard from? My favorite band are The Killers, but I've also listened to music from Franz Ferdinand, Interpol, and Hot Hot Heat and I'm very pleased. I think I may just get addicted to this kind of music. It's very catchy and fun and even good to dance to.
