My big brother just got married. He and I have a 14 year age difference, he's never lived in my house (half-brother), but whenever I get the chance to talk to him he's a really great guy. I want to get to know him better (I've wanted to for a while). My mom said to just call him or send him an e-mail, but he just got married and I don't know if he has time for me. I don't want to annoy him and what if he think's it is weird? What do you think, should I give him a call/e-mail or no?

Of course talk to him And you should tell him that you have an interest in you two getting to spend some quality time together. Also get to know his wife, since she is a essential part of his life. Little things like random telephone call and emails go a long way in bringing a relationship closer.
