Besides the brain there are Systems that are made from other matters. I can feel the presence of these Systems.
Yea, there are those Systems, sure, prove it. Voila. Don't think that the neuron system is that perfect and have endless capabilities. Each new connection between the neurons alters the meaning of the connection that already was made to imprint something else. Each connection between neurons occupies some space in the brain. So the possible number of useful connections is not that big. Cells that are located far apart in the brain cannot be connected to each other easily, many such connections would take up all the brain space very quickly. A human can remember his entire life. There are 100M cells in the eye. Count how much visual information the brain must store. It's 100M * 2(eyes) * 25(number of frames per second in a movie) * 60(seconds) * 60(minutes) * 24(hours) * 30(days) * 12(month) * 100(years). Think how it could be stored. Until today your scientists don't know where in the brain so much memory is stored. And you will never find it, brain is primarily a sending and receiving device. Try to think that the brain is not an all can device. We can build you. |

bill, i suggest that for topics such as these, you make them a debate, which means explaining what you mean, having a one or two sentence question about it, etc.
anyways: translation of that: you're brain is a system or neurons. it stores memories. However, how can it store those memories? if it's in the connections between neurons, it would mean there's not much the brain could store. a neuron can't connect with another all the way across the brain, there's not enough room. now think about the visual memory that must be stored: 2 eye * 25 frames per second (in a movie) * 60 seconds * 60 minutes * 24 hours * 356.25 days * 11 years that's a lot to remember. so; where do you think memories are stored? |

It is stored in the Memory Systems. Besides the Memory Systems, there are Systems, where the contents of the consciousness are born. They are tightly integrated with the brain. So if you drink, you are drunk. |
