Ever see middle school punks cussing and using curse words? See them trying to have a bf/gf? Hmmm, it's funny. Roaming around these forums, i see kids at the age of 12?? cussing and cursing like no tomorrow. 12 year olds have gf/bf and are asking for relationship tips. Sorry folks, but this gets to me. When i think of a 12 year old, i think about an innocent middle schooler with the sweetest smile, but seeing what i have been lately, changes my perspective. Just a Thought, i may be wrong and biased.

QUOTE(Arimalka @ Apr 26 2005, 5:08 PM) I hate this. I really do. I hate being stereotyped because of my age, and I'm sure a lot of other people do, too. The fact is that you, who is supposedly "older and wiser", was once twelve and thirteen. You should know how it feels, especially in today's world. It's an age where kids feel pressured to "grow up" as fast as possible, though they don't really understand what that entails. Acting "mature" isn't about having a "boyfriend/girlfriend" or cursing at least twice in every sentence. It's about making the right choices in life and molding your true character. Most "tweens" haven't yet realized this, though, but they'll pull through well enough. And it's the guidance of older teens and parents that will help them get through this awkward time, not stereotypical criticism. Arimalka Exactly. About the blow-job story: If people were to believe that, then that just shows pure naivete coming from both sides. |
