I love iPods. I have a pink mini one who else has one? if you go to NYC, it seems like every 3 people have one. But i think their ads are the COOLEST!

QUOTE(uLoVeMikeRoch @ Apr 22 2005, 2:10 PM) ohmigawh, you're totally right! i mean, i only bought mine a few months after they came out, so i've had it for about two and a half years, and it still works perfectly. they totally break within a few months of buying them!!! anyways, i don't think that itunes or filesharing is what's making record sales go down- it's declining quality in mainstream music. |

That was gay, you are gay. You're sarcasm is ineffective here. Anyway, i personally think that itunes and napster isnt such a good way to get music. So you pay for it and you download it, what happenens if its get erased or your computer gets a problem? I personally rather get the cd and rip the files to my computer. But it's still a very effective way to make money for the music industry. |

^ agreed. ever since i started downloading i've been able to find more bands, and have started buying a lot more cds.
QUOTE(uLoVeMikeRoch @ Apr 22 2005, 5:04 PM) i actually thought it was damn effective. did you miss my point? they don't break within months, or even years for that matter. that was an extremely ignorant statement for you to make. you didn't include any facts, sources, or personal experiences to back it up. and resorting to calling me gay..? i find that pathetic. edit one: oh, and for rachel, it's *your. using the contraction you're means "you are" of course, and "you are sarcasm" makes no sense at all. edit two: QUOTE(uLoVeMikeRoch @ Apr 22 2005, 5:04 PM) So you pay for it and you download it, what happenens if its get erased or your computer gets a problem? Jesus Christ, you are dumb. iPods do break in a short time. They are not going to report that in any magzine or news resource. They would get sued by Apple. The battery life is terrible. It has a pretty crappy battery that last for like a year. (exageration) Replacing that battery costs a lot too. It's not like 10 dollars either. It's 100 dollars. And their tech team isnt too bright either. I know people who have returned their ipods to the tech team, to get it fixed. They fixed the problem, bit when they got it back. A different thing broke. This was up untill apple decided just to replace the ipod. The iPods to break easier than most mp3 players. They are just too damn sensitive. THe mini's however do last longer. Because they have like an extra casing, but that still doesn't mean that they are indestructable. The White ones are alot easier to break. And Apple as big as of a company they are, they just can't make Mp3s. The ipod photo was a good idea, but jesus christ whos going to use up 30 or 60 gigs. The shuffle was a bad idea too. Nobody really need all 20, 30, 40 , 60 gigs. Hell they dont even need 4,6 gigs. Most people dont even have that much music. On the white ones they dont even need 10. There are plenty more good mp3's and mp4 players out there. The iPod is just a bad choice. There are PLENTY more of players out there, and alot of them better then the iPods. |
