for some odd reason, this year, our school district has made "take your child to work day" practically a holiday. We received a notice last week that stated that every student that was absent on this day (Thursday), would be counted as in school. So basically, everyone in my school will not be absent, whether they actually went to work with their parents or not. I'm really glad because I can stay home from school that day without anyone knowing that I played hookie. (my parents dont care)
Are you going to your parent(s)' work? does your school have the same rule? |

Thats awsome.. I remember if you went to Take Your Child To Work Day, you had to write a report about it and then you wouldnt be counted absent *nod*
But I also remember the kids who didnt go got to play games all day and just chill with the other people who couldnt go to work with there parents. My mom works at home and my dad works in a lawyers office.. Be bored all day and write a report about it? Or Go to school and chill with my class? Obviously I always picked the later. |
