for some odd reason, this year, our school district has made "take your child to work day" practically a holiday. We received a notice last week that stated that every student that was absent on this day (Thursday), would be counted as in school. So basically, everyone in my school will not be absent, whether they actually went to work with their parents or not. I'm really glad because I can stay home from school that day without anyone knowing that I played hookie. (my parents dont care)
Are you going to your parent(s)' work? does your school have the same rule? |

my school always sent letters home to say that they didn't want us to participate.
i still wouldn't, because it would hinder our parents from doing their job efficiently, unless they were wonderparents and we were wonderchildren, except that doesn't happen. |
