for some odd reason, this year, our school district has made "take your child to work day" practically a holiday. We received a notice last week that stated that every student that was absent on this day (Thursday), would be counted as in school. So basically, everyone in my school will not be absent, whether they actually went to work with their parents or not. I'm really glad because I can stay home from school that day without anyone knowing that I played hookie. (my parents dont care)
Are you going to your parent(s)' work? does your school have the same rule? |

We had that in grade 9, but people who didn't go to their parent's workplace had to go to school, so that sucked. I never got to go cause my parents were on business trips, but whatever.
