I like the idea of a suggestion forum, at least in part because this is only the second forum I've ever been involved in (and I've been in quite a few, modded three, and actually run one) that doesn't have one. It seems like people are afraid it would turn into a massive hate-fest for the mods or something, but in my experience it hasn't been like that. But then, I haven't been on CB long, maybe y'all are different from other communities I've been in. I don't know.
By the by, I wanted to say that I think the mods are doing a great job. It is my belief that a suggestion forum would actually benefit the mods. Some people say we should just pm a mod or admin with suggestions, but that isn't the most effective way to go. Just a thought, what if someone has a good idea but it has to be changed just a little to be implemented well, but the mods don't know how it would be changed. What if a member did know a good way, and because there was a thread on it in the suggestions forum, were able to suggest a better way where a mod might not necessarily have seen it? I don't know, just an idea. |
