mm .. are you allowed to do anything? aren't there any limits/suggestions that the teacher provided? well, some of my suggestions for a book report are:
A) soundtrack- make a soundtrack (tape or CD) for the book. MAKE SURE to explain IN DETAIL how each song goes with different scenes of the books and why it portrays the emotions of those scenes best. B) talk show- not as difficult as it seems; videotape you and a friend (one of you can be the author) holding a talk show about the novel. use your creativity to make it as interesting as possible. C) collection of poems- write 4-5 poems (different styles) about the novel (specific scenes, themes, characters, etc.). you'll enjoy this, especially if you like poetry, and your english teacher will love this, especially if you work hard at it. D) another chapter- continue where the novel left off and write another chapter. this is a good idea if you enjoy writing creative fiction. E) documentary- especially good for this project. this might take a bit of work. F) newspaper articles- track the events with a collection of written newspaper articles. include different genres-- informative, editorial, poll, ad (lost boys), etc. |
