take your child to work day, yes or no? |

for some odd reason, this year, our school district has made "take your child to work day" practically a holiday. We received a notice last week that stated that every student that was absent on this day (Thursday), would be counted as in school. So basically, everyone in my school will not be absent, whether they actually went to work with their parents or not. I'm really glad because I can stay home from school that day without anyone knowing that I played hookie. (my parents dont care)
Are you going to your parent(s)' work? does your school have the same rule? |

no my school does not do that. i remember when i was like in 4th grade i went to my godmothers work, because they had a bunch of activities planned on that day. but anyways i think im too old for that now.
