OK I have a paper to write for my class Southern Woman:Myth and Reality. I'm going to be writing on the sterotypes and beliefs, etc of southern belles. I have to get opinions from other people that I will use in my paper. I thought CB would be a great place to start. So what comes to mind when you think of a southern belle. Also do you see southern belles are just be based on one race, white woman or do you consider other races as southern belles if they are from the south. Thank you in advance.

Surprisingly, I think of Rouge from X-Men. But that doesn't help so ... I think of blonde women with their hair in a bun and with a parasol wearing those old style bartender clothes.
