k, so on my myspace i put up a new layout and i wanted to put a song to go along with it. the thing is, i have a mac, and i wanted to make sure on windows computers quicktime would play the file too (since i didn't know how big to make the player if it's for windows media player because i don't have it). so what i did was convert the song into a .m4a file, then uploaded it, and used this code:
it works fine for me, but my friend says it comes up as a red x. it looks like this on my computer: . i'm pretty sure the server i'm using allows hotlinking, but i'm moving the file soon to be sure (i'll edit this when i do). so what i was wondering is- does it show up as a red x on your computer too? is it because of the file type? the coding? is there any other way i can do this? thanks.
