Working on a skin, Help with coding

I need to brighten the image up a bit, and figure out how to put the co-ordinates in for the posting, subscriptions, etc. But if anyone can help or point me in the right direction, please do!

I need to brighten the image up a bit to brighten up a image you need to use a designing program like photoshop and paint shop pro.. if you have those for photoshop you go to image>>adjustments>>brightnss/contrast and for paint shop pro i belive its adjustments>>brightness/contrast.. yea think its that. here are the free trials if you don't already have it photoshop- http://www.adobe.com paint shop pro- http://www.jasc.com
