I've been training in track for about 2~3 months now and I'm not sure if it's the position I run or somethign but the muscles on the side of my stomache are really sore and tender...do any of you guys know why?

depends on what you're running
if you're doing long distance, then your head should be up and back semi-straight .. i think .. if you're doing something like tha 100m run, you should be leaned, but not like 90 degrees leaned .. and then just go all out |
