What is up with people not caring and thinking that their "too cool" to care?
I was talking to someone who I thought was chill and pretty cool, but once I mentioned my friend Sally who has breast cancer... his reponse just... I don't know.. but he responded with "Who cares, as long as you don't have it right? Then life is good" I didn't know what to say... I just hung up. I thought I knew, but now I really want to know... what is wrong with people these days? |

Well hey.. we can't force someone to care about other people. I mean, I bet your friend doesn't even know who your friend Sally is... And if your friend did, then he might secretly loathe her or something.
At least there's someone like you who does care about her. And sorry about your friend.  He wouldn't be so heartless if a family member or someone close to him had it or some other life-threatening disease. :angry: |
