jocking backlash, you know Options

whenever someone "jocks" or takes something from someone's xanga they are like spammed a bajillion times with the same repetitve comments: "you should die you jocking mofo" etc.

usually people have to get new xangas out of "fear". i think that this is wrong.

as a designer, i know how many hours it takes to make a skin and how hard it takes, i just finished my current one/

when people steal my stuff and put it on their xanga, i am cool with it, even flattered. if they claimed it as their own, i am okay with that too because my name is always in the image, so its obvious they didnt do it. if they did go around other xanga communities online and shopping my skins around (ex. jordan_inc, imposter @ blogring), i would be upset, but i wouldnt try to destroy them online or whatever.

i have had my xanga for 2+ years now and if i had to shut it down because i stole/used parts of the html (it never happened), i would be pretty mad. i mean its all in fun (making skins and making xangas look good). right?

umm..just because you don't care about people jocking your skins doesn't mean that i will be okay with them jocking mine! i understand that making skins is all in fun and just to help others out but i don't want someone to take my hours and hours of work that i had to take time out to make and say that they made it and not even give me credit.

and jocking is not okay. it is just like whenever you are doing a report nd copy everything word for word from the book and turn it in saying you did it.

and i am not trying to say that jocking is okay, i am just saying that we shouldnt get all angry about it

so what re we supposed to do? just let them do it?
