i am sick and tired of stupid nasty PADS. I want to start using tampons, but my mom uses the big kind, and i heard its better to start with the smaller kind. only problem is, i dont know how to ask her...i'm sorta shy about that subject. how should i bring it up??
please help!!! |

I completely knwo what your'e going through, it may sound easy to ask her for something like that but I knwo it's not. When I started having my period my mom automatically bought me smaller thinner tampons, so IW as lucky that way, but I was still very shy to ask for more. Now I'm used to it and everytime we're goign out I buy soem tampons.
The onl way to do it is jsut ask her, wait for a moment when she's alone with you and say "I wanna start using tampons" that will get you started, and then you can explain that you want thinner ones than she uses to get started, dont' be shy, your mom has probably gone thourhg exactly the same thing when she grew up!  best of luck
