i guess for many it might be dress code, but where i come from the rules are kinda dumb
& hats are not allowed for they are a "distraction" & electronic devices (mp3/cd players etc) are "prohibted" but no one ever cares & having/buying a soda before lunch or after lunch & cards are not allowed because you can "gamble" with them & homemade food cannot be brought to class for like a project or something, it has to be store brought (some new texas law) yeah its weird |

My school has a lot of odd rules, but none of them are ever kept.
The one that i dislike the most is that we have vending machines, however, they are turned off during lunch because it takes away from the cafeteria money, (But, everything is cheaper in the machines) yeah, its dumb. They are on every other time, just not during lunch (even though we are never suposed to use them period) |
