Not to put a damper on the celebrations of the Roman Catholic Church's new pope but...today marks the 10 year anniversary of the bombing of the Oklahoma City Federal Building. Still can't believe it's been a decade now...I still remember watching the breaking news back in 95 in the employee lounge while I went with my mom to our local hospital...

The second picture is spectacular. The sorrow that's drawn out of me...it takes me breath away.
I remember when that all happened. I didn't understand the gravity of it all at the time. Now I do, and even though I didn't know anyone involved in this tragedy, I still feel for all those who did. |
