why do state quarters, seem more valuable? |

I have no clue why, but I feel richer when there's a state quarter in my hand as opposed to an old quarter. Do you feel the same?

My mother has this thing about collecting them, and when we go buy something and she gives change, she looks if its a valuable quarter before she gives it in.
