theres this girl at my school who hates everything, she thinks shes the coolest person in the world because she likes slipknot and the hardcore bands, AND she hates the beatles! she says theyre gay and shitty, i was like WTF@@!&^% the beatles were the first rock and roll band byotch! and she makes fun of my friends and taunts them all the time. it really pisses me off and i want to say something, but im kinda shy to, wut should i do

If I were you, I'd be super intelligent on the subject and MAKE her realize that if it werent for bands like the beatles, her beloved Slipknot and hardcores bands wouldn't exist. Don't be afraid to make her look like an idiot, because it sounds like she is.
Think of reasons why the Beatles are important (believe me, you can think of many...) and tell her. Then ask her why the bands she likes are important. She'll probably feel pretty dumb. Also, I'm aware that many hardcore bands respect the Beatles and other rock artists that influenced music today. Find some interviews from some of her favorite bands like Slipknot and quote the members saying they like certain bands like the Beatles..... If that doesnt shut her up, pretend she dosen't exist. |
