it all started in january...as a resolution...i was not going to be shy and afraid of rejection to admit my feelings toward the guy i like...(richard)..

all of a sudden...the only friend that knew i liked richard, TOLD richard and he didn`t say or do anything about it..

then LOTS of people started asking richard if he liked me or not..he would say "i dunno" or nothing at all...

then in february, on valentine`s day...i sent him a carnation saying "will you be my valentine?"

my friend(same girl that only knew) asked him what he did to the carnation and he told her that he threw it away... ...so i got all my girlfriends to jump him but he yelled out "I DIDN`T THROW IT AWAY!!!"...but he gave it away to his friend and his friend said richard didn`t want to hold it all day..but richard didn`t care what happened to the carnation...so i secretly put it in his backpack...but he never knew it was there..

on the same day i asked him "why don`t you like me?"...he just shook his head and WALKED AWAY..

weeks later..a good friend of mine that happened to be a good friend of richard`s asked richard if he liked me or not...and richard (FOR THE FIRST TIME) said "maybe"...i started to get all hopeful...

then to be sure he asked again...and richard said "yes"...

so one day i asked him and he kept on asking me "why do you like me?" and i would respond "because!"...he>>"why??"...me>>"don`t answer my question with another question!" and he laughed...finally he said "yes"...

when i told all my friends (you know how girls are..hehe..) the girl that first knew i liked richard she was like "no...he doesn`t like you mariel..he`s just saying that to make you leave him alone"...harsh right..?and a friend of richard`s also said that..

so i went up to richard again...and told him what i heard..he was "do you believe them?"...i said "well...i kinda do...because they said they know you more than i do.." then i asked him "so you do like me..?" and he just nodds..then i asked him out..and he said "i can`t" i said "why not..?" "because my mom and dad won`t let me" and i said "they don`t really have to know.." and he just shrugs like he always does..

as the days go by i made him a cd...he said he "didn`t know what a cd was.." but took it anyways...i asked him if he enjoyed it and he nodded but a friend of mine wanted that cd and i was like "are you going to give it to him??" and he laughs and nodds...but he didn`t give the cd away..

before spring break started...i gave him a note giving my phone number...he said he didn`t like notes and he was illiterate.. ...i had to hold onto his backpack and say "i thought you liked me..?" and THEN he took the note...but he was trying to get some of his friends to take it...but i was watching him..

i didn`t watch him enough..

things started to get worse after spring break..

first thing i asked richard was "why didn`t you call me over spring break?"..then all his friends started blocking me away from him..

one day, before spring break...i found a pictures of a girl in his backpack...so i asked him about it..and he said it was just a friend...but he told other guys a different story...that it was his sister..

then i heard from someone that overheard richard talking to his friend that richard didn`t like the cd i gave him...that the songs sucked..

then when i passed by his locker with all my friends nearby i asked richard about everything i knew..first about the cd...and he was like "WHAT?!" and looked around for the guy told me..then i asked him about the note..and he said he gave it to his friend!!!i slapped him and called him a son of a b!tch and walked off...and everyone was like "ooohhh!!!"...i found out from that friend that richard gave the note to him, said "hold this for me over spring break", and RAN OFF..and at lunch when he FINALLY read the note...he was IMITATING me..and his friends were laughing..

then when i was STALKING after richard after school, with a smile on his face, "i`m not talking to you anymore"..

i thought he didn`t mean it...but he did..

completely IGNORED me...no matter how close i was to him..i even grabbed his arm but he would give me this look back at me...as if we`re playing games..

but that good friend of mine asked richard why was he doing that and richard said he forgot the reason.. ..but my friend said richard still has the note i gave him and the cd...

i don`t know if he still likes me or not..when it was my birthday he didn`t say "happy birthday" to me...i mean...his birthday was 2 days after mine..

now i`m really afraid that all this time he didn`t like me...cause one of my friends insists he doesn`t like me...the other says 90% chance he still likes me..

how can i give up on richard..?he was the first guy to "like" me back...if that`s what he really meant..

i can`t communicate with him online cause he doesn`t go online...i don`t think he would call me...i don`t know his phone number..

lol im maggie, u dont necessarily havta look down instead of at him cuz sumday wen he sees wat he missed out on, u'll b able ta look at him n not care, that will b lyk tha best feelin lol
