hey ppl, i was jus watching some improt car videos, and was wonderin wuts better, drifting, or grip driving. i like drifting, cuz its cooler and can be faster. sate ur opinion yo!

Well the thing is drift and grip are always gonna be of relation. To be good at drift you'll have to be good at grip in the first place. Before you learn how to run you gotta learn how to walk right? So in a sense for those that like drift, you'll also like grip and this is true for many pros. There are so many people that involve themselves in both of these styles simply because being involved in both is a must because the skills compliment each other.
take a hardcore autocrosser and have him do a drift session vs someone that doesn't autocross regularly and you'll swear that the autocrosser would have had some experience in drift although he hasn't. He's learned the limits that he can reach with the car, weight transfer is mastered in grip and is a key to drifting. |
