I like this guy (lets call him Bob) but Bob likes this other girl (lets call her Jill). Even though Bob says he doesnt like Jill I know he does. Jill doesnt like him, plus she only flirts with Bob because shes bored. Anyway theres also another thing, alot of ppl dont like Bob. So i cant tell my friends, at least half of them, that I like him cause they'll be all like "why? Bobs a jerk" but they dont understand where he's coming from and it pisses me off. I've only told one of my friends because she understands where Bob's coming from. Also Bob's younger than me and even though to me age doesnt matter i've heard that alot of guys dont like dating girls older than them because it makes them feel like outta power. Tonight we were at this pool party and Bob was kinda just lying around, didnt swim at all. Jill was about to be thrown into the pool by another guy and Bob tried to stop him. But Jill was all "get away from me" Bob stormed out. I followed him out to his car and he was crying cause he was sick and tired of all the shit people were giving him. I helped him get through it but afterwards he just went up and talked to Jill. grrrrr

So ya basically the guy I like, whom everybody hates and is younger than me, likes another girl. What should I do?

Jill flirt with him, you can flirt with him too. but i wanna know what does Bob like Jill? in the case, "But Jill was all "get away from me" Bob stormed out. " Bob should know Jill not really like him. if u love someone, u won't 'get away from me' to him.

also, u don't need to care what ur fd think. if they isolate u because u love the guy they dun like. that fds not worth of u. and u said that have one of ur fd know the truth, when u feel upset, u can share with the fd.

age doesn't mean a lot. i have a fd who r dating with the boy younger than her 3yrs. and another fd dated with a girl elder than him 4 yrs. so age is not a problem. not all boys dun love girl older than him.
in addition, i love a guy younger than me too and i'm get well with him ^^

i think u should fd with him first, let him know u care abt him and support him all the time.
