Hey everyone,
Okay, so I added the custom/extra modules on the right to my xanga. The code is below, even though I got it from here. Thing is, I was kinda hoping I could creat seperate sections in one module. Hm, how to explain this? Ah, for example..I have a module that's for "Links". And within it I have three sections, one for other sites' links, one for my topsite link thingy, and one for link buttons that other people can use to link to 'me'. Each has a divider between them, which looked okay..untill I started adding too many link buttonsm, and now it's getting a little long. I dont really want to put a scrollbar in the whole module, because with the seperate sections the bottom ones would kinda get lost. So here's my question... I know how to use the little text area code boxes that let you adjust the size and add a scrollbar and what not..but is there something similar that lets you actually 'use' html in it? Like to be able to add a picture within a little codebox thingy, without it just showing the code? o_O I hope this is making sense. I needed it for another reason, too. Since I added a skin thingy to one of these custom modules, I wanted to just have the links to the layouts in a codebox, but not showing as code...showing as a link..So, yeah. >.> I need a textarea/codebox with scrollbar type thing that'll allow me to use html in it. If it helps any, here's my xanga. www.xanga.com/Crimson_Sky |

we had a topic on this before and all. and we finally figured it out..
CODE <div style="width:200; overflow:auto; height:100;"><img src="URL OF IMAGE HERE"></div> use that and just change the height and width to fit what you want, then place your url to the picture where it says. make sense? let me know if you need anymore help on this.. edit: btw your link to your xanga freezes up my browers when i try to go to it.. dont know why. |

QUOTE(kill me please @ Apr 15 2005, 4:00 PM) O.o' Well, that's weird. I've never seen it freeze a browser before. I'm not sure why either. I dont have too many codes or anything..like no transition effects or blink boxes or anything really. o.o' Hmn. Anyhoo, I gotta go right now..but thanks. I'll check out the code later and edit this to see if it works. ![]() **Edit** Yay! It works exactly how I wanted. ^_^ Thank you so much! |
