saving image as .png, interlace options

for adobe photoshop 7.0, when you save an image as a .png, a window with png options will appear...



so i was wondering, what's the difference between none and interlaced?

^ Yup, that'd be it.
Interlaced is good if you want people to have something to look at while the image is loading, and if the image is a little on the large side.
