well theres a concert friday they wont let me go to because they say its a bad neighborhood. But they whole time i will be with an adult whos also going to the concert with us. They said theres shootings and drug dealers that will be selling tickets outside the door. But it's not like i would go up to one of them im not stupid.
 Is there anyway I can convince them that I can take care of myself and that they should let me go?

Aww overprotective parents can be annoying sometimes. Mine aint though. They let me go on this 45 minute train ride to this radio concert thing when I was 12 with a bunch of friends at the same age for the whole day. I still go every year
