I often find myself thinking of the role that "Gen Y" plays in today's society. This is a satire, so you may find that I mock pop culture a lot. So yeah.
Teenage life really rocks my socks The mood swings are the best The boys, hands wrapped around their cocks While eyeing silicone breasts The cliques that cling The nerds left alone The insults that sting We're all on our own Hollywood casts a wicked spell On billboards with beautiful faces Our very souls we would sell To make it to higher places Drunken to your satisfaction Wild weekend parties Obsessing over lesbian action While popping pills like Smarties Who cares about education We know all we need to know Illiteracy rampant throughout the nation In this we reap that which we sow It's not a good message that we send Pretty soon we all much pay When things come crashing to an end A dark and dismal day Thank you Chrissy. You helped pump this one out of me too. :] |
