What so many of you don't understand is that your beloved Simpsons and Futurama are suffering in ratings. Because of this Matt Groening hired new writers to add shock value to the show to compete with Family Guy and South Park. As for FG ripping of South Park, thats a fallacy within itself because they're too different shows with two different aims at entertainment.

In fact, Matt Greoning said himself that there will only be one more seasons of the Simpsons. I can tell they're running out of fresh ideas...I dont dislike the Simpsons now, but I do tend to like the episodes from around the fifth or sixth season much more. Futurama I never really enjoyed in the first place, but I have nothing against it. |
