Today, my friends and i were talking about random things, fun and bla bla. Then she said:

Friend: Sandra, when i first saw you, i thought you were a slut
Me: excuse me?
Friend: you wore this very short skirt and were chewing a gum
Me: so?
Friend: haha u just looked like a slut
Another friend: Lol yeah, i was wrong, you ain't slutty, you dress like a slut, that's all. hahahaha
Me: *stands up* f**k you bitches.

What's up with that?? They didn't know me and they judged me just by my looks .

Last year my bestfriend said the same thing.

Sylvie: I swore to myself never to talk to you
Me: lol why
Sylvie: because of the way you dress
Me: erm, how do i dress
Sylvie: lol...TOO girly, but i don't care anymore, you are my bestfriend.

I wasn't really angry about that but i don't get it, maybe its me but how do you judge people by their looks?

I never do that, when i see a girl wearing a short skirt, im like "wow, i love that skirt", when i see a gothic girl "cool make up", when i see someone wearing something i don't like i'm like "i don't like the shirt or skirt or blah" but i'm not like "oh my god, she looks like a slut or a bitch or ugly", i don't know but i'm not like that. It hurts when someone tells you that u dress like a slut, and even laughs about it. ...

Anyways, do you judge people by their looks?

umm..okay thats rediculous that they said that to you, and may i make an argument for myself? I judge people, like people watching in the mall for example "wow look at him he looks like the type of person who never leaves his house except to buy more video games" but at the same time, I would never let my judgments go as far as to keep me from speaking to someone. If he walked up and was as suave as ever, I'm not going to say oh you are a geek who plays too many video games bye. I think people who judge like that are awful. Me personally, I love people watching, but I also dont mind being proved wrong either. I don't care what the hell people say about me, as long as when they speak to me, they let my words and actions speak for my personality, not how I walk, who I talk to, or how I dress. My band teacher said I was a horrible person because I changed my hair color all the time. HE told me I didnt know who I wanted to be so I changed my hair color to get attention cuz I was unsure of myself. I was like hey moron, the hair color I usually buy doesnt exist anymore, so I'm trying new things. I get bored and change my hair. You dont know shit about me. So yeah. Judging is stupid. Everyone does it, but dammit, you dont have to let that dictate how you feel about a person.
