i wouldn't exactly say that's preppy..

the brand of the shirt and pants might be stereotyped as "preppy" but the outfit itself, wouldn't.

as for nukes. there's a 80% that you're right.
however, if you look at the outfits...

not to be taken personally, outfit #1, is horrendous, the clothes speak of no taste. it consists of a played out throwback, colors that don't match, and each article or piece of clothing is a different brand. even if he/she was going for the "ghetto" approach or what not. even dr. jay's streetstyle with their hall of shame match.

outfit #2 is pretty good, IMO i actually like it, except the str8 g buckle. the pants are nice, the shirt and shoes are hot. ... could use a jacket though.

outfit #3 is probably the only one out of these 5 outfits that actually followed the exact rules. the overall price is $200. has a shirt, polo, jeans and shoes. and it's what the theme was.. "SPRING BREAK" assuming that the term spring, classifies as a "Spring Color." outfit #3, also used a pleasant shade of matching as well -- not that pink is for real guys and blah blah phad.

outfit #4 i like how its all the same brand. the shirt and the hat are okay. they probably stand out the best out of the whole thing. the pants match, but if the url hadn't read roca wear, i would have assumed it was apple bottoms. the shoes match as well, but imo, the shoes overdid it. and once again, if the url hadn't read roca wear, i would've assumed it was south pole. yes i know, i am stupid.

outfit #5 uses the color green, which is what would be classified as a "spring" color, but not 'spring shade;' uses a mix between, digitalgravel.com, ae.com, and pickyourshoes.com. the overall outfit seems to blend, however if this outfit is being voted just because it's american eagle instead of roca wear enyce, or just because it's your style and what not. then you're missing the point of this competition.

Objective
Come up with a Mens outfit (next month we'll do female i promise) that follows the rules.

Rules
You must submit
1) Shirt/Jersey/Inner Wear
2) Sweatshirt/Jacket/Etc.
3) Pants/Shorts
4) Shoes
5) Optional - Hat, Accesories

The price limit for this month is $ 200.00 and the theme is Spring Break.
PM your outfit to me along with pictures, brand of clothing, and price.
First five outfits I get are the ones that get to be voted on.
Outfit is due by the 8th of April.

but obviously, since the vote doesn't seem to be judged by its standards, people are just voting on what seems to be "non-ghetto"

for anything, outfit #3 should be winning. it's got everything this competition was supposedly looking for.
