what is America seen as by u guys..?...no doubt its a great nation today, full of diversity, founder of democracy and most powerful nation on Earth...
but what about Americas past war crimes, that we have never repented for? for example..... dropping 2 atomic bombs on civilian Japanese cities...they specifically targeted civilian cities that were generally untouched by the war, and the second bombing on Nagasaki was intended to NOT give Japan time to react or surrender..... the total deaths were like 200,000 people.... it was so fukking unnecessary for America to drop those bombs....but America basically used Japan as an experiment and their intent was in order to gain a foothold of power after the the war over future rivals, like the Soviet Union.......targeting civilians like that makes America equal to the crimes of Germans and Japanese....and that shit is f**ked up.... and that is the war crime of WWII which America never got punished for....maybe 9/11 was something of a wake up call for Americans to look in the past and see what America has done to other nations....im not saying America deserved 9/11 though, innocent people should NEVER die....but im just saying, think about it.... i mean....i wonder how many of Americans actually feel any guilt about the atomic bombings...? i mean....we are all taught and schools are so focused about Pearl Harbor and Nazis crimes and the holocaust, the genocide of 6 million Jews...and to a lesser extent about the Japanese Rape of Nanking, where 300,000 Chinese civilians were slaughtered....they are clearly horrible crimes...but what about Americas massecre of 200,000 Japanese civilians in Nagasaki and Hiroshima..?...we barely learn the details over the decision to use the atomic bomb and the horror of it...how is it not even considered a crime? now most of u who read this will not even give it a seconds thought and shrug it off immediatly....and i think THATS why the world hates and despises America.... im not anti-america or anything either....these are just my thoughts...i think America is a great country today, not perfect, but its gotten better since those times....i just trying to give u guys another perspective....my writing might come off as extreme or something, and im sorry for that but i was watching something about hiroshima, and i got to thinking about it....and then i came on CB and literally wrote this shit off the top of my head.... |

QUOTE never has changed, never will Bollocks, that will only happen if people can't be arsed to do something. America has a lot wrong with it, starting with its culture, and ending with its politicians. BUT look at the 60s 70s etc. things HAVE got better, people are not getting assassinated by the government, GW almost got kicked out, and blacks are fast approaching to take over in terms of population supremacy. In other words, we need to boost education and not spread hate but love. I like Americans, but I have never been to America, and that is why I always stop myself from judging them. Oh and see www.cnduk.org, and join up if you think nukes need to be abolished. |
