Well, as long as it's possible to do, then I think it's fine.
Me and my girlfriend have been dating for a year and a half now, we met on the internet (we actually live on the opposite ends of North America, I'm in Ontario and shes in California) and we carried it on for a month or 2 just on MSN. Then we started calling each other, and during the 2 week christmas break she came and visited me. Now, in about a year - 2 years we will be moving in together (I'm not old enough yet :P). I also know of another friend that had the same thing go on, they have been dating for 3 years, and they live together happily. The only way in hell it's desperate is if you go to lavalife or some crap like that, if your actually Looking for someone on the internet to date, that could be considered desperate I suppose. I met my girlfriend by accident, as many people do. It really just depends how you came about your significant other. Oh, and if your an angsty, close-minded slut, the above may not make sense to you, in that case...grow up :( |
