i'm a usually loud and outgoing person with my friends, but when it comes to people i don't know i suddenly become really shy and scared.
 when there are groups hanging around in the corridors, i'm too scared to just jump in and act normal. i just slink away and avoid them. my school is reallyyy small. in my grade there are around 40 people only (2 seperate classes) so i know mostly everyone, but if people aren't my really close friends, i become... locked. is anyone like this? and how can i be myself??

I can be that way sometimes where I don't feel comfortable about hanging around with certain people. Just try to open up to them. Act as if they were like your best friends and you all are hanging ou. Or when you're hanging out with some people you feel insecure with, bring a friend to make you feel more comfortable
