ok well now i am in 7th grade. and i like this guy who happens to be really shy so i know i am going to have to make the first move someday. i kind of have a plan worked out already (haha i am wierd). towards the end of next year, since we will be graduating and going to high school, i plan to "pretend" like i am asking everyone their screen names to keep in touch (but i really will be i guess). so naturally i'll ask him and he'll probably give it to me. Now freshman year in highschool, say there is a dance or something, I would like to ask him to it. Is it better to call him or to instant message him?Since my school has their own phonebook i just have to look up his last name and there is his number. Or is this even a smart plan?

i personally thing that you should go with the instant messaging it's easier for you and him, since he's shy he can have time to think without being rushed because on AIM or AOL etc. you can take your time to answer and if you're nervous then it's good for you to say it online than on the phone.
