A girl who is annoying but not on purpose, I h8 her but I feel bad pushing her away Options

I've got a "friend" and she's not exactly annoying on purpose…but we just don’t' get along very well. we don't go to the same school or anything cause I home school but she seems to really really like me for some reason. she home schools too see so she has all day off...and every couple days she's like "hey, can you cocem over today?" "wanna go see a movie?" "I'm babysitting a friends house, wanna come over?" "I'm thinking of going into dance, what's the name of hte place you take your lessons? what class are you in?!?" she tags around EVERYWHERE and I really dont' like her...it' snot that she's rude, it’s kinda the opposite, whenever she sais something it's always so boring, like "I'm getting a job at wendy's and on my first shift I clean the counters and then I blah blah blah and blah blah blah ..etc" it's soooooo boring, and all her topics are like that…and when we are in a group with some friends I actually ENJOY talking to she never joins in on that conversation and always sits behind me doing NOTHING which makes me feel bad and then once in a while she'll strike up a random extremely boring topic with me while the other group is hooting with laughter one of these days I should just tell her I don’t' like her but it’s not that simple...because she loves me SOOOOO much she joined my dance class so I see her every week and she SUCKS at dancing, and now that she's there everyone associates me with her and it seems like they don't like me as much cause I'm always with her.

I don't want to sound mean but no one likes her and I don't see why she HAS to hang around me?!?!?! PLUS to make it ten times worse, she's planning to go to the same school as me next year...oh GREAT! so now I desperately want to change schools I go to and not tell her but I wanted to go to that school so bad, and that’s where my brother is going and everything. it’s not that she’s a bad person but somehow she always ends up ruining everything

What do you think I should do? Maybe I'm jsut overreacting...I mean I can put up with her right now but I'm worried that when I go back to school she'll be all clingy and I won't be able to get rid of her I really really dont' want to hurt her feelings cause she's a really delicate person and she doen's thave many freinds (for obvius reasons) but I dont' see how I can tell her I don't want her hanging out with me anymore and NOT hurt her feelings have any of you had simular experiences?

Distancing myself is a good idea..and I kidna did that...I didn't visit her once throughtout spring break and everytime she suggested something I didn't really want to go to (alsmot everything) I nicely said no..but it didn't fool her, she phoned me and asked me right out wethe rI was her freind still or not and I said yes...what was I soppsoed to do, say no?! I wouldn't do that...I guess I should have said that I lieked her but I didn't tihnk we got along very well and maybe she should try finding more freinds but...I didn't I'm afraid I'm not very good at fast thinking so now she still thinks I'm her freind, I mean I AM, but I jsut don't like goign over ot her house everyday and she tags around me sooo much, *sigh*, if I get another chance like that I'll try to speak up, i'ts just so hard
