Wow. I was walking by the bookstore and all of a sudden I saw artemis fowl in the window, and ti was the FOURTH book in the series. I didn't know that Eoin Colfer was going to write another. has anyone else read these books? I bought the fourth but have yet to start it. I like this series more than I do Harry Poter, but Harry Potter is still a most fanciful and wonderful tale. The books are about a 13 year old male in a foreign country who is associated with the mafia. His father was kidnapped by another mafia, and they believed him to be dead. Artemis (the young boy) Fowl's mother is medically insane, and dances around with air pretending that his father is still home. Now, here's the twist. Artemis finds the secret race of faerie's and elves deep below the surface, and cons them into helping him with crime. This is like nothing ever written. It is engaging from the start, and is worthy of a four book run. Give me your thoughts on this one.
