Yeah .. It's kind of weird and very unsensitive of me to be putting up this thread but .. isn't it true? Like for example, September 11 - we weren't so patriotic before that and now look it's all, "GOD BLESS AMERICA!" and "I <3 AMERICA!"
It's like we all need reassurance so patriotism is where to go! WOO! Don't yell at me and stuff ... I'm just ranting. |

lilangelgurlpnai...i agree completely. That's why my family is not all "hoo ha" America...let's put out a million flags on our yard, car, and buy bumper stickers to show how patriotic we are. oh, please. I find it funny that americans feel comforted and safe after a tragedy by raising the flag, even though it won't help anything. If you love your country so much, why must you express it in that way...excessively!? Especially after 9/11...why weren't people like that before?
