Yeah .. It's kind of weird and very unsensitive of me to be putting up this thread but .. isn't it true? Like for example, September 11 - we weren't so patriotic before that and now look it's all, "GOD BLESS AMERICA!" and "I <3 AMERICA!"
It's like we all need reassurance so patriotism is where to go! WOO! Don't yell at me and stuff ... I'm just ranting. |

It's how i was raised. My parents and grandparents raised me to respect my country, and to express my opinion bluntly to others. To see someone burning a flag pushes my buttons more than anything. I dont hate any of you, nor do i want to be hated/disliked, however, i dont appreciate being disliked for being an opinionated person. Ok i've said all i'm gonna say, see you around

QUOTE(L3d_Z3pp3l1n16 @ Apr 4 2005, 3:30 PM) It's how i was raised. My parents and grandparents raised me to respect my country, and to express my opinion bluntly to others. To see someone burning a flag pushes my buttons more than anything. I dont hate any of you, nor do i want to be hated/disliked, however, i dont appreciate being disliked for being an opinionated person. Ok i've said all i'm gonna say, see you around ok, so youre just going to regurgitate whatever opinions they feed you? thats not very mature. higher thought processes involved not only listening to what others to say, but then understanding, absorbing, and lastly and most improtantly making your own decisions as to whether you agree or not. because opinionatedness is not limited to you, but its better for people who have some sort of knowledge as to whats going on around them |
