Yeah .. It's kind of weird and very unsensitive of me to be putting up this thread but .. isn't it true? Like for example, September 11 - we weren't so patriotic before that and now look it's all, "GOD BLESS AMERICA!" and "I <3 AMERICA!"
It's like we all need reassurance so patriotism is where to go! WOO! Don't yell at me and stuff ... I'm just ranting. |

NO , because after events like that people realize the country needs unity , patriotism was always there just alittle bit more visible.

I think we were always patriotic, but events like this really show us what we are really like, and after things like this, some not all people are kind of alone feeling and scared and need something to believe in. But I think it is just more visible after something like this. I think the US also wants to show the world they are not giving in, they are banding together. etc. |
