my cuzin just got this new pink shirt that says "everyone loves a southern girl" and i asked her "you are actually proud to be southern?" and she said "well i don't have much of a choice" and i said "well i hate it. i am quite ashamed to be one." i have lived in florida my whole life and i hate it! all the stupid palms trees should die! and the beach can go w/ them. i hate being southern! i do not have an accent though thank god. are you proud to be southern if you are?

I've been living in Las Vegas over half of my life. I can't say I love it very much, but I am not ashamed. It's interesting to see people's impressions of what people of Las Vegas are like. Sometimes, I hate how the people here are unfriendly.
I am however, truly proud of being from Canada. Everything there makes me want to show off to the world that I am from there. It's really your choice whether you are proud or not...but since you're living there anyway, life is just harder if you don't appreciate it. |
