Whether it is sports or studying or whatever, what do you think of that makes you push for that extra 5 minutes or however long it is. I think of my best friend and how she died and I just get so mad and I just get an adrenaline boost whenever I think of that.

when i'm swimming, i think about beating this guy who's always giving me grief about being the slowest.
 oh and if i'm really in pain like for a 500 or something i pray.
