he won't stop, ..calling me that is Options

hi has this ever happened to you? there's this friend of mine who confessed to liking me. im fine with it as long as he knows i don't like him back. so i told him i only liked him as a friend and he understood. then he asked me for my phone number. i don't like talking on the phone much and so i told him no for that very reason. and again..he understood. but then one day he phones me on my cell. i dont like getting phone calls on my cell because it costs $$. so i made up some excuse to get off the phone. everyday after that for about a week he called me at least once a day! i answered a few times but when im home i dont keep my cell with me (which is the only # he phones). one day he tried to reach me 4 times in 4 hours, and phoned me 10 times in 2 days..just to talk..even though i told him no.

yesterday i told him to stop calling me. and then he denies phoning me! im thinking...hellooo? i can prove it i have caller id...so i tell him i can prove it. he still denied it but he said he wouldn't call my cell and changed the subject. then 2 minutes ago he phones my cell again. im at work so i cant talk anyways but i can't believe after i told him to stop he still called me.
can anyone relate? or have any tips for a way to make him stop?

you can hit the ignore button and don't let him call. well i guess you can always turn off the phone since if you didnt want to waste money and you are home ..... hmm.. im not really sure what you can do my bff had the same problem and i just talked to her so it blocked up the line and eventually they stopped calling her.
