do tampons hurt when you use them or like the first time?im 14 and use pads because i am scared of them. people say you can die from them or get tss or something .. but is 14 to young for tampons?

TSS is recognizable and treatable. But - most importantly, there are actions you can take to reduce the risk of developing it. Women should use the lowest absorbency tampon for their menstrual flow. If you have any of these symptoms and are wearing a tampon you should remove the tampon immediately and contact your doctor for immediate treatment.
