QUOTE(BrandonSaunders @ Mar 28 2005, 9:28 PM) I'm down with torture and brainwashing. Ever read 1984? Nonetheless, I'm sure if you hung a man by his ankles and soaked him with water only to give him a shock from a car battery every ten seconds, he'd straighten up. Chinese drip torture will work too if the person isn't driven insane. my god, that's only going to make him murder hundreds of more people and then committ suicide before he's caught...that is if he's released after his torture. why does everyone want something cruel to happen to these people? they're still people...they just made a mistake, that's what humans do. i really don't believe in all these life sentences...no one deserves to sit in a jail cell for the rest of his/her life no matter what they've done, that's like slowly killing the "criminal" which isn't exactly better than what he/she's probably done. plus, people make false arrests, innocent people would be killed and tortured and what will happen when the government finds out they made a mistake? "whoops, sorry for screwing you up and torturing you" is that what? ![]() i have no idea what to do with these people although i agree that they should not be freed to roam around the streets within a few years after being in jail |
