Hey, im Speight and i am a proud Pagan who is loooking foward to pagan pride day in August and i feel that religion alters your chances of entering a relationship has this ever happened to anyone out here?

Well, religion caused a huge issue in my relationship over the past while. I've been with the guy almost 3 years..and he beleived fairly similar to me through most of it. But he's Christian..and strong into the bible. And I was/am spiritualist..psychic..all that..even a bit wiccan. And he didnt mind that, but the problem was that because I believed 'against' a lot of what the bible said I'd get into heaven for..It would mean I was technically sinning and wouldn't get in at the end. And he said he loved me so much, but he couldnt deal with the idea of losing me in the end in heaven. o.o'
'That' is a good example of how religion can cause problems in relationships. Other than the obvious fighting. Gah..my browser double posted this, can someone delete this one since I dont know how? o.O |
