QUOTE(Mireh @ Mar 30 2005, 11:24 AM) No, you might be doing an activity that could get it infected that you don't normally do during other seasons, but it not the fact that its summer that gets the peircing infected. It doesn't hurt much but you build it up to hurt more. I've had mine for 5 months now, and I've changed it........even though your soposed to wait at least 6 months, but I had a peircer look at it to tell me if it was healed enough. They get infected really easilly, so be careful.---> See theres less blood flow there to clean out the peircing: thats why its easilly infected, and why it takes a while to heal. The yellowish-whitish stuff that can come out is a sort of discharge that happens when its healing, or when its infected. --->You hear about "custies" that form around the peircing while healing, thats the dried discharge. You have to wash your peircing. NO alcohol, that dries out the peircing, plus it will help close the peircing! Remember how ther use it on cuts and scarpes? Well thats to help them heel closed. Also you have to do salt water soaks. .....................I need to shut up. |
